Now in its third year, the Surface Design Show features hundreds of products and materials that cover the interior shell and exterior building skin. Highlights include a new resin and polymer system of translucent panels incorporating grasses and fabrics from Futimis and Architectural Ceramics' range of large-format tiles, shown right.

The show will also host a number of seminars, with speakers including Philip Gumuchdjian and Richard Hyams, plus Alex Mowat, director of architecture at Urban Salon, discussing his practice's winning entry for the Architecture Foundation's Bermondsey Square competition. The show runs from 1-2 March at London's Business Design Centre. Its website is at www. surfacedesignshow. com.
