At 100% Design this year - which itself is 500 per cent bigger than the first event six years ago - a host of new products will be on show.

Here the AJ takes a look at a selection from the 450-plus companies taking part.

Bonaldo is showing a rocking chair, 'Flip', and armchair, 'Miss Flip'. The chairs, designed by Claudio Dondoli of Archivolto Design, are made of polyethylene. Available in white, yellow, prune, light grey, blue and dark blue.

This dish, made up of small pieces of glass fused together, comes from Jo Downs Glass. It is available in assorted sizes and tiles, with mirrors and panels also in the range.

Aktiva is exhibiting 'Shimmer', which it describes as pendant, table and wall lights whose colours change depending on the angle of observation. The plastic and aluminium items, designed by Peter Christian, are available in various sizes and are 'multicolour'.

This stainless steel and glass coffee table is designed by Sam and Jude from SUCK UK. They describe it as an independently switched tabletop and down lighter, featuring a built-in power connection.

Mount your magazines on this wallrack, courtesy of exhibiting company Rosendahl. Designed by Maria Berntsen, the Wallpaper Magazine Rack is made of brushed, anodised aluminium.

New from architect Henry Harrison of the Platonic Fireplace Company is the Firestrata. It features an exposed section of 'virtual beach' behind glass.

Unique Interieur is showing this polished aluminium lamp at 100% Design. Designed by Verner Panton in the 1960s, the lamp is available in other colours - blue, purple and black - and has a recommended retail price of £87.

Opening doors: these bespoke fused glass door handles are from Juicy Glass, and come in various colours. The glass is attached to the door with stainless steel rods, with fittings for wood, metal and glass enclosed.

These unusual threedimensional ceramic tiles are by Bakebean.

Designed by Jay Townsend, they go by the name of BIGO and measure 205mm x 205mm x 45mm.The tiles come in white, black, brown and grey, and cost £18.28 for one to 10 units.

Claire O'Hea is showing this abstract wall panel at the show.

Called 'Maya Dyptich', it is a hand-printed silkscreen on a Jersey Lycra-base cloth and stretched over a covered wooden frame.

McDonnell Associates has come up with 'Gridlock'- interlocking acrylic profiles which have been precision cut and sit together to form the seat. Colours vary to suit the client's specification.

Mosaik is a sofa with a frame of solid Swedish beech wood, available as full size (274cm long) or half size, the latter of which is open either to the right or left.

The seat and sloping backrest cushions are cold blown foam rubber. The designer is Johan Celsing and the manufacturer Gõrsnõs.
