while superior winner fails to spot them all

Nobody likes a clever Dick - or even a clever John. So keen was John McKean to maul our 'awful' 'Spot' the Changes competition (he can't even get the title right) with his superior knowledge, your correspondent makes himself look utterly pedantic (AJ 27.3.03).

So cowsheds get altered, but we referred to the changes we had made, not others. Actually, Mr Cleverclogs, the weather boarding on the hayloft and silo was left natural originally and only painted green in the 1930s.

And you did not spot, or ring, the doubled-up upper doors either, so moo to you!
