Holcim global competition for sustainable building projects
Entries to the $2 million (equivalent to £1m) Holcim Awards competition designed to promote sustainable construction closes on February 29, 2008.
The Holcim Awards, which recognise building solutions that go beyond convention to address the challenges of sustainability, are open to anyone involved with the construction industry, including those in related areas such as architects, planners, engineers, or project owners.
A step-by-step guide to entering this year’s competition is available for download in eight languages and covers the conditions of entry, adjudication process and tips on completing the online entry form.
The application form is available at www.holcimawards.org, along with details on all the 46 prize-winning projects from 2005/06.
