Hamiltons, by any other name

Following the departures of Robin Partington and founder Tim Hamilton, AJ100 practice Hamiltons has decided to change its name, with a new moniker being unveiled at MIPIM in March.

Makes sense. But what led to this fracture still remains unclear. Gossipmongers say Hamilton and Partington (pictured) had barely been on speaking terms – though the latter must be credited with putting the 43-year-old practice back on the design map.

Both have since set up on their own. Astragal wishes all three the best of luck.
