This week’s events include the Sustaining Identity Symposium at the V&A and a roadshow showcasing sustainable products

Where: Emirates Stadium, London

Ecoshowcase is a sustainable products roadshow.

The event combines a product exhibition by green manufacturers and a seminar programme and is targeted towards local architects, surveyors, engineers, developers and procurement professionals.

Where: Roca London Gallery

This talk at the Zaha Hadid designed Roca London Gallery will question the concept of sustainability from the viewpoint art, architecture, sociology and design.

40 per cent symposium

40 per cent symposium

When: 28 November, 08.30am - 4.30pm

Where: RIBA, London

The 40 per cent symposium will look at key sustainability legislation affecting commercial property, with speakers including founder of BioRegional Pooran Desai.

Sustaining Identity III Symposium

Wang Shu Sustaining Identity

When: 29 November, 10am

Where: The Lydia & Manfred Gorvy Lecture Theatre, V&A

Supported by AJ’s sister title The Architectural Review, the symposium will focus on the work of international architects, looking at projects which have created a non- homogenised sense of place.

Speakers include architect Wang Shu, winner of the 2012 Pritzker Architecture Prize, 2012 Global Holcim Award winner Francis Kéré and architectural theorist Juhani Pallasmaa.
