Footprint has teamed up with the Passivhaus Trust and BRE to offer one reader a complimentary pass to the UK Passivhaus Conference 2012 which will take place on November 7 - 9 at the University of Nottingham. To win a free place, you must complete a three-question survey here. In addition to the complimentary ticket, there is a 20% discount offer for all those who complete the survey.
The two day conference will review the take-up of the German Passivhaus standard in the UK through a comprehensive review of residential, non-domestic and refurbishment projects completed to date. Seminars, workshops, and an exhibition of Passivhaus products will offer plentiful networking opportunities. An optional third day will include visits to Interserve’s first Passivhaus office in Leicester; Sampson Close - a Passivhaus residential scheme of 5 houses and 18 flats in Coventry and Architype’s Oakmeadow Primary School in Wolverhampton.
Speakers include Jonathan Hines of Architype, Marion Baeli of Paul Davis & Partners, Bob Prewitt of Prewett Bizley Architects, Fran Bradshaw of Anne Thorne Architects, and Andy Simmonds of Simmonds Mills Architects. See the full speaker line up here.
The winner of the competition will be chosen on Monday 22nd October. Good luck!!
