Footprint has teamed up with In Detail to offer readers three free copies of Building Simply Two.

Edited by Christian Schittich, the book explores many facets of sustainable construction in contemporary architectural practice including both design strategies and technical issues.

The book includes a wide range of projects with work by Steven Holl Architects, Toyo Ito, and Dominique Perrault, among many others. Chapters of particular interest to Footprint readers are ‘Simply sustainable’ and ‘Simply local.’ Project locations are primarily northern European (though none in the UK) with several outliers in Japan, Australia, Chile and South Africa.
