[Deadline for entries 14 September] Participants have just one month left to submit schemes to the Mayor of London’s green infrastructure ideas contest inspired by New York’s High Line park
The Landscape Institute, the Mayor of London and the Garden Museum have launched an open ideas competition for imaginative new places to enrich London’s green infrastructure.
Entries will be judged by a panel of experts including the founders of New York’s High Line - a public park created on a 1.45 mile-long elevated rail structure in the heart of Manhattan.
The winners will be announced by Mayor Boris Johnson as part of a High Line Symposium to be held at the Garden Museum from October 5 - 8. The winner will receive £2500 and the runner-up £500, and shortlisted entries will be displayed at the Garden Museum.
24 July 2012 - competition registration begins
14 September 2012 - deadline for submissions
late September - shortlist announced
8 October 2012 - winners announced
