AJ Retrofit Awards: Deadline 1 June

AJ third annual Retrofit Awards, in association with Arup, ISG and ZBP, are currently open for entries. The awards celebrate design, engineering and construction excellence that prolongs the active life of buildings and infrastructure.

Previous winners include Bennetts Associates whose Elizabeth II Court scheme in Winchester was the overall 2010 winner and 5th Studio in 2011 for the refurbishment of Wolfson Flats, Churchill College, Cambridge in 2011.

This year’s award covers a wide range of categories from small houses to listed buildings to transport infrastructure. Judges will be looking for outstanding design, innovative approaches, demonstration of client and user satisfaction, and evidence of performance data demonstrating reduced energy consumption.
