First look: Shafiei shows off Madrid shop

Up-and-coming talent Sara Shafiei has unveiled images of her proposed fit out of the new RAASTA fashion boutique in Madrid, Spain

The scheme includes ‘walls of curiosity’ made from water cut ply and a chandelier made of steam-bent wood (pictured above).

The ex-Bartlett student Shafiei, who won the national 3DReid ‘Best of Show’ student competition in 2007 has collobrated on the project with Ben Cowd under the name Saraben.

Shafiei expects the project to start later this year once the delayed refurbishment of the existing shop, which formerly belonged to Spanish fashion designer Sybilla, completes.
