First look: Black Architecture's proposals for Harrow

Black Architecture has won the competition for the redevelopment of a key site in Harrow

The proposal will create a high-density mixed-use scheme featuring a large Sainsbury’s store sitting over two storeys of car parking.

A large residential element will be elevated onto a landscaped podium above the food store and linked to the ground through glazed access cores.

The redevelopment is aiming for a BREEAM excellent rating and a Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4.
