Astragal’s heart was warmed by Alma-nac’s real-life gingerbread house to raise funds for Great Ormond Street children’s hospital

The working detail shows how the 2 million calorie house was ‘built’ using 240kg of gingerbread dough and 1,200 cupcakes. More than 2,000 people ate it over the three days and it raised £5,000. Delicious.
