Part two: AJ Small Projects 2014 shortlist revealed

Small Projects: 5 kilometres of rope, a wooden egg, a flower stall, a battery charger, a pub, a garden offIce, a research lab, and a handful of home extensions

This week we showcase the second half of the 24-strong AJ Small Projects 2014 shortlist, ranked in ascending order of cost, and including the three schemes we have shortlisted for this year’s Sustainability Award.

Paul Reed, sales and marketing director at Marley Eternit, writes: ‘We are proud to sponsor the AJ Small Projects award for the fourth year running. The award provides architecture practices with a platform to showcase the innovative and inspirational buildings they can design within shape, size or budgetary constraints. As always, we have been impressed by the creativity and originality of the designs we have seen and congratulate all of the projects that have entered.’
