St Marylebone C.E. School, London

The inner city school required large additional facilities (gymnasium, dance studios, music and art departments) but planning constraints and property values prevented expansion vertically or horizontally.

The project is a five storey structure interlocked at basement and ground level with two public courtyards. The structure provides the facilities required (largely underground), introduces accessibility, upgrades public spaces and sets design guidelines for future refurbishment.
