AJ Kiosk exhibition opens this Friday

An exhibition showcasing drinking fountain designs by Hadid, Hopkins, Parry, AHMM, Adam and Studio Weave opens at The Building Centre this Friday

The schemes drawn up by Zaha Hadid Architects, Studio Weave, Hopkins Architects, Eric Parry Architects, Allford Hall Monaghan Morris and Adam Architecture, respond to an AJ brief in partnership with Turkishceramics calling for new drinking fountains in the capital.

On Thursday, the teams will be presenting their concepts in front of an all-star ‘crit’ panel which includes Daniel Moylan, an adviser to London mayor Boris Johnson, Robert Tavernor, Daisy Froud of AOC, critic Jay Merrick and AJ acting editor Rory Olcayto.

All six proposals will be exhibited at The Building Centre from 20 February, the night of the launch party, until 14 March.
