Sabine Leribaux: 'Passivhaus nourished this office project'

The Green Rethink: Sabine Leribaux of Architectes Associes’ on the practice’s Passivhaus office in Belgium, Aeropolis

The Brussels-based Achitectes Associes partner also runs through upcoming Belgium regulations governing ‘new build and heavy refurb’ and asks how they will impact on housing (including Passivhaus developments) and office schemes in the next four years.

With reference to ventilation, sun shielding and insulation details from two of the practice’s home-grown schemes - Elia and Aeropolis II - Leribaux explains how the government (which funded both schemes ) is hoping these ‘low tech’ schemes will nudge developers in the right direction.
