Are you feeling the effects of a challenging housing market?

Some architects believe that the public housing sector is 'recession-proof', yet others are not so sure. Are you concerned? The AJ's Designing Affordable Housing 2008 aims to act as a forum to debate this critical issue affecting architects.

The AJ's Designing Affordable Housing 2008 conference will provide you with award-winning design examples which tackle housing challenges head on:

  • Sustainable housing

  • Lifetime homes

  • Space standards and density in housing

  • Planning requirements

Who you will meet:
Architects, local authorities, house builders, developers, engineers, housing associations, consultants

Attend to:

  • Limit the risk from the changing market

  • Examine procurement and funding processes

  • Achieve higher levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes

  • Take away practical solutions for designing to space standards

  • Apply changes to the planning regulations to your project

Afordable house
House must be more then design. It has to have soul, feeeling. It has to be naive, sincerely and simple. For that you have to be honest during design, to lieten to you heart, and not care about materia. If tahat so every body will love it every body will try to have contact with it and it will became afordable house with soul design.
