Santambrogiomilano's Glass House

[LFA REPORT] 90-92 Great Portland Street W1W 7NT, 19 June - 23 June, 9:00 - 17:00, free

London’s Festival of Architecture is home to hundreds of exhibitions with numerous invitations to come see exciting new buildings, some easier to see than others, in fact, some you can see straight through.

Santambrogiomilano’s Glass House articulates the Architect’s vision of homes of glass where boundaries are no longer defined by solid opaque walls punctuated by the odd window . Instead the interiors experience the external landscape with unrestricted 360 degree views, the first two examples being in the heart of a remote forest and by the coast.

The ‘simplicity’ collection by Ennio Arosio designed using the same glass wall technique in furniture applications from kitchens to bathrooms is also on display.
