Meaty surprise

Astragal was stood quietly, Ginsters sausage roll in hand (there were no canapés – for shame!), at the back of the large audience that gathered last night for Carmody Groarke’s Winter Nights lecture at BDP in Clerkenwell. It’s plain and simple – the Anglo-Australian pair are very, very good. They have only been going for 12 months and already have schemes all over the world. There are apparently one or two major schemes in the pipeline that are going to set the pace a-racing. Its not often you see a young practice as good as this pair; Astragal nearly choked on his mid-lecture snack.
