Marches, marathons and demos: Oona Hassim at the Woolff Gallery

[ARTS IN BRIEF] The movement of crowds of people through urban spaces is the inspiration for a new exhibition of paintings by Oona Hassim, writes Rakesh Ramchurn

Hassim’s paintings, which will open this Friday (27 Jan) at the Woolff Gallery in London, have been informed by the events of 2011, such as the royal wedding, the London Marathon and demonstrations including the Occupy London movement and the Anti-Cuts March.

Woolff Gallery, 89 Charlotte Street, London W1T 4PU
