Game on

In one of the least surprising stories this week, the London Development Agency (LDA) announced the EDAW-led consortium as the winning team to masterplan the legacy of the Olympic Park after the 2012 Games.

The consortium includes, among others: EDAW, masterplanner of the Olympic Park in Games mode; Allies and Morrison, also masterplanner of the Olympic Park in Games mode; 2006 Stirling Prize-shortlisted Caruso St John; and Swiss supremo Vogt Landscape Architects.

Astragal understands the name of the consortium was ‘The Olympic Legacy Masterplanning Team’. A tough choice for the LDA.
