3. The Artistic Republic of Garston
Artist Michael Trainor opens the headquarters of his mini independent state – a pavilion created for Liverpool’s year as European Capital of Culture.

4. The Clerks: In Memoria
The Clerks, a UK vocal group, will be singing Renaissance music in Victorian ‘Cathedrals of Industry’ such as Crossness Pumping Station.

5. Street Art
See giant works created on the walls of the Tate Modern by acclaimed street artists including Sixeart (pictured), Os Gemeos, and Faile.
