Welsh Eisteddfod festival calls for submissions

The National Eisteddfod of Wales is calling for entries to their annual ‘Architecture in Wales’ exhibition

Drawings and models of projects built in Wales between January 2011 and March 2014 can be submitted for consideration for exhibit at the annual festival in Llanelli.

Submissions will be eligible for two awards; the Gold Medal for Architecture will be given to the overall winner and the Plaque of Merit awarded to a project with a value of less than £750,000.

Welsh-born entrants under the age of 25 can submit digital portfolios for the chance to win a £1,500 scholarship. Selected portfolios will be exhibited during the Eisteddfod taking place between 2 and 10 August 2014.

Completed schemes should be submitted by 14 March through the contest page.
