Welsh architects sought for Eisteddfod Architecture Pavilion

[Expressions of interest must be received by 30 January 2012] Welsh architects are sought to design an architectural pavilion for the 2012 Eisteddfod

This year set in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales, the winning pavilion will ‘reflect the vision of Welsh Architecture for 2012’.

The 40m² pavilion will be a freestanding structure housing workshops and talks during the festival’s eight day duration.

One third of the pavilion will house a temporary exhibition showing models and framed pieces with the pavilion itself set adjacent and connected to the arts pavilion.

A £20,000 budget and ten day build period have also been announced.

A full brief is available through the contest’s dedicated page.
