[Registration must be completed by 30 July] The University of Bremen in Germany has launched an ideas competition seeking proposals for a new ‘Academic Interchange’ visitor facility
Intended to a provide interdisciplinary working space which encourages ‘international relations’, the required facilities include a restaurant, workshop, exhibition space, performance areas, accommodation and services.
With a target floor area of 3000m2 and a requirement for multiple floors, the site is located at the university’s South East corner close to a tram stop and main street.
In November the first and second place winners will be invited to a symposium in New York to present their schemes. Commendations with be awared to other leading entrants.
Registration must be completed by 30 July
Submissions must be received by 20 August
Results will be announced 20 September
