University College Cork seeks sports facility design team

The University College Cork (UCC) is searching for a design team to deliver a major new-build sports facility

A team is required to mastermind the phased relocation of the existing sports facilities the UCC’s Curraheen campus to a recently purchased site in Bishopstown, Co Cork.

The 200,000m² site will become home to a new pavilion with changing and spectator facilities, an indoor training block and multiple outdoor pitches.

A shortlist of teams will be invited to tender based on expressions of interest, with the appointed team providing all the required consultancy services.

Other professionals to be incorporated in each team include engineers, quantity surveyors and project managers.

Documents are available up until 26 July with completed responses due 2 August, invitations to tender will be issued 23 August.
