Two fire-service buildings, Isle of Wight

Isle of Wight Council seeks detailed design and project management services for two fire-service buildings

The Isle of Wight Council is seeking the detailed design and project management services from suitably qualified providers from RIBA stages A to L of Isle of Wight Fire Service buildings on 2 sites.

The first is a combined fire service headquarters and fire station in Newport. This will house 6 dry appliance bays, and the necessary facilities to support a 24/7 manned station. The building will also provide office accommodation for 35 Fire Service Headquarters staff, and a large multi-use community facility. The site will additionally accommodate a vehicle workshop, storage and training facilities.

The second site at Ventnor will be a 2 bay retained duty system fire station, with a small community facility and drop-in office space for Fire Service staff.

This procurement will be divided into two lots. One will be for Newport Fire Station, the other for Ventnor Fire Station.

The project value will range between £900,000 and £940,000
