Turin polytechnic opens urban farming ideas contest for students
[Registration to be completed by 21 November] The Polytechnic University of Turin in Italy has opened an international student ideas contest to design the future face of the city
The ‘Tur(i)ntogreen’ competition will look at how urban farming can be used to utilize the city’s unused spaces.
Mixed-use schemes featuring low cost, low carbon residential areas and local facilities are required.
The winner will receive a visit to Turin with free accommodation for up to 120 days plus £1,200 expenses.
The first runner up will be offered an internship at a choice of practices based in Turin.
