Tenement repair and conservation, Isle of Bute

  • Comment

[Requests to participate must be received by 23 November 2011] Argyll & Bute Council is seeking conservation architects for the ‘sympathetic’ repair of tenement buildings

The 29 month contract requires conservation architects to carry out repairs to ‘five priority historic buildings’ in Rothesay, on Scotland’s Isle of Bute.

Traditional materials and techniques are to be used in the works which focus on the town centre.

Part of the Rothesay Townscape Heritage Initiative, the framework agreement will be partly funded by the initiative’s £2.6 million works budget.
