Student contest launched for temporary Milan housing

[Registration must be completed by 4 June] Students have been invited to propose temporary housing ideas for Italy’s Politecnico di Milano technical university

Open to current students and recent graduates of architecture, schemes are sought for temporary housing to accommodate visiting professors and workers at the Politecnico di Milano.

Situated within the university’s ‘sustainable campus’ project area, proposals must meet the needs of visitors and the local population.

A £2,700 prize fund has been announced. The winning projects will be displayed at the MADEexpo Milan fair 2012.
