Stockholm airport seeks innovative ideas for noise reduction

Swedavia, the owner and operator of Bromma Stockholm Airport, has opened an international contest for ‘creative solutions’ to reduce ground noise

The airport operator is calling for multi-discipline teams to propose ideas for improving noise disruption in the airport’s surrounding residential area of Bromma Kyrka.

Five teams will be shortlisted to develop their schemes before presenting them to local residents. The winning team will receive a prize of £9,200.

Registration should be completed by 14 February through the allocated contest page. The final deadline for submissions is 28 February.
