Singapore port authority launches ideas contest
[Registration must be completed by 31 July] The Port Authority of Singapore has launched an ideas contest to devise the next generation of container port
Designs are called for to increase current efficiency and productivity on a 2.5km² site.
The contest has been launched to foster innovation within the maritime industry and is open to entrants outside of the maritime sector to ‘encourage adoption of ideas from other domains.’
Winners will receive £600,000 and potentially up to £3 million in research grants.
Registration must be completed by 31 July
Winners will be announced April 2013
