Search begins to find the Environmental Photographer of the Year 2014

The Atkins/ Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management 2014 Environmental Photographer contest is now open for entries

Professionals and amateurs are invited to submit images that ‘highlight environmental and social issues,’ worldwide. 

Free to enter, the contest is sponsored by Atkins with a £5,000 grand prize available to the winner. A further £1,000 will be awarded to the best of the under 18 entries, £1,000 to the best film and a cityscape prize of £1,000.

The winners will be judged on impact, composition, originality, creativity and technical ability, with one winner invited to exhibit their work in a solo show by Forestry Commission England.

Images must be received by 31 March 2014 with entrants asked to contact the group on the contest page.
