Science Museum tenders research centre refurb

London’s Science Museum is on the hunt for an architect to refurbish its existing South Kensington building to create a new research centre and library

The works works intend to improve links between archive collections, the museum’s artifacts and the library.

The project is expected to start on site in the autumn and complete by 2015.

A shortlist will be drawn up with selected entrants invited to tender for the £1 million contract.

PQQ documents are available through the Museum’s tender page. The deadline for responses is 14 March.
