Royal Shakespeare Company hunts architects for costume workshop refurb

The Royal Shakespeare Company is on the hunt for an architect-led design team for their costume workshop project in Stratford-upon-Avon

A refurbishment of Victorian buildings used since the 1950’s by the company as costume workrooms, the works are due to modernise the spaces allowing for staff training and production areas.

The project will Initially be taken through to RIBA stage D in support of an Arts Council application, and if successful the team will progress to construction drawings.

The successful team will be tasked with improving poor access, varying floor levels and inefficient layouts as part of a three-year contract.

PQQs are available through costume.project@rsc.org.uk until 30 September with completed documents required by 7 October.
