Architectural services are required for works to the listed castle Schloss Bothmer in Klütz, Germany (pictured above); including the roof, timber ceilings, façade and incorporating modern facilities.

Designed by architect Johann Friedrich Künnecke, the Castle was built for Count Hans Caspar von Bothmer (1656-1732) the Hanoverian Diplomat instrumental in securing the succession to the British Throne for George I, rather than the Jacobite James III. Von Bothmer spent the last years of his life living in Number 10 Downing Street despite what he described as its “ruinous condition”.
