RIBA Yorkshire launches Forgotten Spaces Sheffield
RIBA Yorkshire has launched its own version of the previously London-only Forgotten Spaces competition, focusing on Sheffield
Unveiled this week at the Sheffield Design Awards, the competition will be open to entries from 1 March. The deadline for registration has been extended to 13 April.

Open to architects, designers and artists living in the city, the brief is to propose innovative solutions for the re-use of ‘forgotten’ places within the city.
Shortlisted entries will feature in a six week-long exhibition at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre, with the three top winners announced at an event coinciding with the Stirling Prize awards which is also taking place in the city.
The awards are £5,000 for first prize, £2,000 for second prize and £1,000 third Prize.
