RIBA-run York Guildhall ideas competition opens
[Submissions are due 6 November] The City of York Council has launched a RIBA-organised ideas competition for the future of the city’s Guildhall and riverside complex
The contest seeks ‘renowned architects’ for with a site comprising York’s Guildhall, associated offices, the river frontage and a boat yard.
‘Innovative ideas’ for the area’s future should aim to benefit the city and its residents.
The winner will take home a £5,000 cash prize. The runners-up will share £7,000.
Submissions are due 6 November
Winners will be announced December
