[Submissions must be received by 30 January 2012] RIBA London is on the hunt for bench designs to feature at the Royal Docks in east London as part of this year’s London Festival of Architecture

Open to current students and recent graduates of architecture in London, the competition seeks proposals for 50 public benches which are planned to be erected in the area (pictured) during the festival.

Entries must work to a £150 budget which covers materials, construction and transportation to site. The 50 winning designs will occupy the site indefinitely after the festival and thoughout the Olympic Games.
