Queen Mary university hunts architects for £25m Graduate Centre

[Expressions of interest should be received by 5 April] Queen Mary University of London is again on the hunt for architects, this time to design a Graduate Centre at the University’s Mile End Campus

The centre is expected to deliver 4,000m² of accommodation with a minimum of 123 bedspaces to be included.

Additionally a winter garden and associated landscaping will be required from the expected £25 million construction budget.

The new build will also house a CHP plant to serve other buildings on the Campus.

Among the architects to have recently worked with the Queen Mary University are Wilkinson Eyre, which designed the institute’s Humanities Building, and Surface Architects, which completed the university’s Lock Keepers Centre in 2005.
