[Expressions of interest must be received by 5 March] Commemorating its 150th year, the Peabody housing trust has launched a two-stage competition to design 150–200 new homes on a brownfield site in east London

The contest is open to students and practices of all sizes.

Shortlisted teams will be invited to submit fee bids for the £500,000 commission and the winning team will develop the design to a planning application.

Students and any other entrants who fall short of the contest’s qualification criteria will be entered into a parallel contest with a cash prize award.
