Open-City launches children-focused contest

[Ideas must be submitted by 14 May] Architecture charity Open-City has launched ‘Open up’, a contest looking for activities to engage children with architecture

Open to architects, engineers, young graduates, students, landscape architects, teachers and any one in the built environment profession, the brief asks for activity proposals based around space, light and materials.

Projects will be located within London’s ‘Square Mile’. The winners will receive £500 and be considered for a further Arts Council England-supported project.
