Onassis Foundation opens Athens ideas contest

[Registration must be completed by 23 July] The Onassis Foundation in Greece has launched an ideas contest for a new city centre in Athens from Panepistimiou Street to Patission Street

Schemes should increase pedestrian access and ‘improve quality of life’.

Proposals’ functionality, sustainability and ease of construction will be considered as part of the evaluation criteria.

A £130,000 prize will be split between the final three entries.
