Northern Ireland Prison Service tenders architectural framework

[Requests to participate must be received by 22 February] The Northern Ireland Prison Service is on the hunt for architect-led design teams for its four year framework agreement

The contract features works with a value of up to £750,000 and may also include capital projects with a value of up to £5,000,000.

The framework is divided into two lots. Under the first lot, design teams are required for projects at the Maghaberry prison prisoner assessment unit in Belfast and the prison service college in Millisle.

The second covers the Magilligan prison, Hydebank Wood young offender’s centre and prison, and the service’s Dundonald House headquarters in Belfast.

Teams are requested to provide architectural design services, project management and engineering services. BREEAM services and surveying works may be necessary in some cases.
