Northern Ireland opens design framework for boxing venues

Sport Northern Ireland is on the hunt for an architect for a raft of small projects at boxing venues in the region

The public body is seeking architect-led multi-disciplinary teams for a range of minor works which will be delivered under its £2.52 million Boxing Investment Programme.

The initiative will see around £1.2 million invested in repairing and improving boxing clubs in West Belfast, Greater Belfast, Derry, Armagh and Antrim.

A further £1.4 million is available for major refurbishment works and new builds.

Projects are expected to range in value from around £500 to £400,000.

Pre-qualification documents are available from Watts Group director Harry Dowey.

The deadline for returning PQQs is 3pm on Friday 11 April.
