Nominate the UK's 'Best Modern Church'

[Submissions should be made by 31 July] National Churches Trust are asking for nominations of Churches and chapels built in the last 60 years to form UK’s ‘top 10 best Churches’

Nominations of churches, chapels or meeting houses are accepted with the leaders to be selected based on ‘creative architecture which imaginatively expresses Christian religious belief and practice’.

Also open to any ‘significant extension’ to an existing build, each nominee must still be open to services today, a contest focused on Churches, Cathedrals are excluded from the contest.

The judging panel will be made up of National Churches Trust, the Ecclesiastical Architects and Surveyors Association and The Twentieth Century Society.

A ‘National Churches Trust Diamond Jubilee Architecture’ award will be given to each of the top three entries in November.
