NHS Guy's and St Thomas' £25m redevelopment, London

[Requests to participate to be returned by 23 January 2013] Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in London are now calling for architectural design services for the proposed redevelopment of the Block 9 and Prideaux buildings at St Thomas’ Hospital.

Under the NHS ‘Blue Book’ an architect is sought for pre-construction services to a planning application stage.

If approved the appointment is to be extended to design completion and construction of the project, currently valued at an estimated £25,000,000.

The site contains mainly Grade II-listed buildings inside a conservation area, the site also neighbours the two world heritage sites of the Houses of Parliament and Lambeth Palace.

Planning permission and redevelopment accordingly are believed to be ‘likely complex.’
