The board of trustees of the science museum has invited expressions of interest from multi disciplinary design teams (most likely to be led by architects) who can provide the architectural design services to create a new entrance to the science museum.
The required disciplines are: architectural design, M&E design, structural design and lighting design.
According to competition organisers, the project will improve the arrival experience of visitors to the science museum by making the museum and particularly the entrance from exhibition road, more visible. This will be achieved by:
1. Alternations to the facade at street level
3. Redesign and refurbishment of the entrance hall
