Neuchâtel 2020 masterplan, Switzerland

[Registration must be completed by 31 December] The Neuchâtel Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Switzerland has launched an international ideas competition seeking masterplans for two of the city’s regions

Proposals are sought for the city’s forest fringe and a waterfront area. The waterfront district is planned to feature public realm improvements and education, research and leisure facilities while housing for 8,000 residents is required along the city’s forest fringe. The forest fringe residential masterplan must be both high-density and sustainable.

All necessary documents and a detailed brief are available in English on the competition homepage.

A total prize fund of 120,000 Swiss Francs will be shared by the designers of the top seven entries.
